The funny thing is that Santorum has always seemed like a wimp physically. I am massively out of shape but I am fairly certain I can beat him up. I would love to see Clint kick the snot out of him.
It absolutely boggles my mind that a loser like Santorum is actually winning some states. Has the GOP completely and fully lost their minds? I thought the days of the Moral Majority holding an outsized sway in the party were over. I guarantee if Santorum wins nomination, you will see an exodus by many from the Republican party. Off the top of my head, I can count about eight who will look elsewhere come November. Eastwood needs to kick his tail back to Penn. Hell, Bill Hader can do it!
I think you right about the exodus. I'll certainly look elsewhere in November. And the thing is that it isn't an empty threat either. Santorum is so loathsome that voting for him is impossible for me. This is in contrast to the pissing and moaning that the Moral Majority crowd makes when they get a candidate they don't like but they end up voting for them anyway. Seriously, after a while the threat becomes meaningless.
For instance, here's James Dobson making it unambiguously clear that he will not vote for John McCain:

And then here he is trying to weasel out of his hollow threat:
That always seems to be the case, yet we continually see the GOP pander to them. I can see why guys like Roger Stone have left the party. Santorum is more suited for the IAP or Constitution Party than what used to be the GOP. But who knows anymore.
